Our new front window display combines the white of New England wintertime with the glorious blooms of giant orchids and the green and blue of striking vintage floral graphics. Twinkling lights adorn the silvery tree, and shiny antique ornaments nestle in the large glass bowl, creating a festive centerpiece. Come take a look before we change it (again)!
We love freshening up our front window each season. Right now we're featuring a bunch of beautiful Heywood Wakefield pieces, including this mid-century modern sectional sofa, chair and side table. Inspired by our love of travel, we've made a "wall" of nautical maps (can you spot some local places?) and dotted the scene with vintage globes and an antique wooden drying rack. With a funky retro starburst lamp, a bamboo coffee table, a little greenery, and the reflection of local passers-by, the look is complete. Come take a peek!
We have always had amazing responses from passers by about our window displays. I am going to try to dig through the piles of photos I have to gather as many photos of the windows @ EBM over the past 8 years... Feel free to contribute if you to a snap shot or two of your favorite. I will start with our current window. Installed by Brittany Solem, an amazingly creative designer, who spares a few minutes of her busy schedule to create magic on Chapel Street. The bones of the window were done for the dreary days leading up to Halloween. Adding color and Thanksgiving bounty will take us through November... Keep your eyes peeled for the Holiday window to come.
